HAP is a community of hundreds of therapists who donate their time and talent to help others learn the
tools needed to heal their communities. They are the Trauma Recovery Networks that weave support into a
fabric of a community assuring they are prepared for and can recover from a disaster. HAP is made up of
thousands of donors who provide the resources that keep their outreach and mission active and alive.
EMDR & HAP? Both at home and abroad, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (HAP), focuses its
efforts on building the capacity of underserved communities to secure effective trauma treatment through
proper training and developing local Trauma Response Networks (TRNs). Their continuous efforts have
positively impacted the lives of many, enabling them to move forward with their lives and be free of the
trauma they experienced.
